Hi geoffrey, we are sorry about this problem. We are not sure what causing the problem from now because we didn't do any changes about encryption in toad (or in connection string). Can you please provide us more information about your server? Are you using some encryption on your server? We think that problem is in IQ client from SAP which we are using in Toad but because we are not able reproduce problem we need your help to verify it. You have to do few steps to make it work: You mentioned that you have previous version of TSAP3.0. Go to your installed folder and here is folder "\Plugins\SAP\" you can find here old version of IQ client "iAnywhere.Data.SQLAnywhere.v4.0.dll" version 16.0.0.14424. Copy and replace to same location of TSAP3.1 (backup your newer version for sure). Then you have to change config file for Toad. This file is in root folder of your installed TSAP. Open Toad.exe.config in some text editor (if you have TSAP on your system disk, run this editor as Administrator). In this file find record about iAnywhere "<assemblyIdentity name="iAnywhere.Data.SQLAnywhere.v4.0"". Change value in attributes "<codeBase version=" and "newVersion=" to version "16.0.0.14424". Save your changes and open Toad. Try connect to IQ and let us now if it works or not :-) Thanks Filip
