Hi, Charon. I’ll try replying to your email and attaching screenshots. But, yes, what you have described is similar, yet different.   In the database grid, long columns pop up a small box with the entire text value in it. Clicking the little arrow causes this:   In the debugger’s local watch window, a variable with a lot of text cannot be viewed properly:   I hope these pictures make my question a little clearer.   Thanks   From: Charon [mailto:bounce-Giraffe@toadworld.com] Sent: Friday, October 11, 2013 7:50 AM To: toadsybase@toadworld.com Subject: RE: [Toad for Sybase - Discussion Forum] Debugger Local Watch Variables   RE: Debugger Local Watch Variables Reply by Charon Hello Imolter I create a procedure with local variable stored lengthy string. The following pic is what I see in Local Watches after I debug this procedure. I cannot see the value of this variable nor paste it out. then I tried Watches and in this case I can see the value when I put the cursor on it but cannot paste it out neither. Is this what you mean?
